Not my favorite of your shots, but you again have excellent lighting and I love the diagonal lines in this. You are doing exceptionally well with having a variety of subjects despite your "confinement." hang in there!!!

HAHA!! I thought this was funny during voting. I liked the "real" moment captured with DOF. I'm afraid bacon just doesn't have that in-your-face color that the DPC voter seems to "eat up" (hee hee). Good job and thanks for the "real" shot. Mmmmmmm.

good creative idea - maybe the effect was stronger with the focus at no. 2

You got my weakpoint. Looking at food at this hour ;) (midnight here)
I think seeing a more browner crisper piece of bacon would've been more appealing, and perhaps the focus on the 2nd piece from the bottom could've worked better for the composition.
