Sheesh, we have to drop all the way down to this image in 60th place before we see an image celebrating the "normal" body... This always bums me out. I like this shot very much. If you want a laugh, check out MY entry at the very bottom of the heap, which is almost fetishistic in its exploration of the decay that accompanies age... |

Very good recreateion of a classic image/feel. However I don't like the crackle treatment done to the image, and feel that the whole thing is overly hazy. |

Not a bad idea, but the post processing (which I think you were trying to use to get an old tintype feel), doesn't work for me. |

This is a great picture. I love the way you have arranged the curtains there, and the processing adds to the old paintings effect. Pose is great 9 |

hmm did you add a texture layer here? (the small black lines)
could use a bit contrast here. |

I like the concept but feel the execution falls a little short. The post processing is nice, and I don't really mind the color. The crackled texture drives home your attempt, but the pose is somewhat lacking. The smile and head position don't really work for me. The pose seems a little forced probably due to the stiff elbow. I would also recommend when going for a vintage feel, remove what appears to be a watch from your model. The interjection of modern accessories take away from the feel of the image. |

Composition is classical and beautiful. But the image lacks contrast and looks like the shadow/highlights tool was overused. |

Well done, and I feel it has the look of the paintings in the Romance/Renaissence era..... |

Beautiful set-up! I wish there was just a little more contrast, but it's still very nicely done. |

good concept
i like the pose
but IMO lighter around the face and at the same time desat a bit more (and/or up the contrast ?) may make it more 'authentic' |

she has classic renaissance beauty. On a technical note, it is probably best to remove any jewelry...it distracts from the possiblity of timelessness...or my mind wanting to drift back to another place in time. |

That cracked painting look isn't working for me. It kinda looks like you just pulled you hair out and sprinkled it over the place. |
