 I wanted to take this shot hand held so I cranked up the ISO and took my chances. Seems to have worked out OK but then I am not voting :-)

The rose is nice and sharp, and you have used shallow dof, but the composition feels off-balance to me. Perhaps cropping it squarish with the rose on the left, but further down in teh frame.
