Handheld manual focus with my 30-year-old 100mm f/4 macro lens. I was playing around with the lens in my backyard taking some practice shots for this challenge to see how the lens and metering would work with my DSLR, and ended up deciding to go with this practice shot for the challenge.

Big crop (original image had 3 water droplets on it), flipped, levels, resized.

Post-challenge: Thanks for the nice comments. This is the original:

This is the first time I used a mega-crop like this and, in retrospect, I might have been better off going with an uncropped version ...

The background and the left droplet has good DOF however I have never been a fan of the foreground being OOF. Others might think differently though. 6 for me.

This is a very interesting shot. The focus is maybe slightly ahead of the second water drop and it's a little spoiler. It would have worked so much better for me if the second drop and it's reflection was in perfect focus. Good anyway.

Good job getting the image in the left droplet fairly sharp. The left edge though is a bit soft. A slightly deeper DOF I think would help there. Also, putting the branch on a diagonal rather than straight across would make the image more dynamic.
