 Thanks to everyone for the positive comments and generous scoring. In wintertime we often make fresh baked bread so the idea just hit me when I read the challenge. I should get hit more often!

I must add thanks to DPC and to all of the talented contributors here who have enabled me to improve my skills and fostered my interest in photography. I have come a long way- thank you.

Oh well done: I really loved this image. So pleased it did well. It has the warmth and character that I love so much (not to mention it's ALSO in black and white - which makes me go weak in the knees at the best of times!).

Very appealing - more texture or sharper focus would have brought more to the 'party'. Perhaps more contrast or maybe more implied movement would have brought drama to help me personally like it even more. << 7 >>
