 The shallow DOF isn't all that creative but the subject and perspective make it perfectly appropriate and awfully cute. IMO ;-) This is LuLu, an animal shelter resident and just the sweetest thing. Who knew they had such great little personalities?!

I may get comments about the haloey/reflective look of her hair above the nose, but it's just what it looks like. She has a wrinkled snout. If this was Advanced editing I'd "fix" it.

PP - cropped, desaturated all but pink, resized, sharpened

cute...I would have cropped out the left and right space as the ground is distracting...a square crop would have been powerful and the image would have been great, but maybe not for a shallow dof challenge 7
