good shot, a little dark and hard to tell what it is, try taking a picture of just a lone shell

a little bit too dark in the foreground

Muscle Beach?

Even though the foreground subject is sharply focused, the bright OOF areas draw the eye due to their brightness. Also, the division between bright and dark is very central so the image feels a bit static.

What may help:

higher vantage point - this could possibly allow you to include more of the beach and less of the bridge

fill flash - to add vibrance to the seashells
