Greetings from The Critique Club

I like the picture in general. It gives me a meditative disposition so I guess that it does the same for you, that's why it is your sacred place. The way you let us see it arise some questions though. Why did you choose to cut so close the upper part of water, just before falling? Or why didn't you cut it all and get rid of that dark ribbon from the top of the picture. I like the fallen tree and the direction it points. The fact that the picture is blurry, almost makes is look abstract. Did you try to shoot from different angles? I would have tried to have something with some weight in the image. Something to pop up more. Maybe the tree. More sharpness on the tree would have been perfect. But I do like the image as it is... we just try to find ways of improvement.

Keep up the good work, you will only get better!
Best regards,
Elena

Your title doesn't really fit the picture on this one to me but I won't hold that against you :) I like this shot, the rushing water, the feeling of motion, the snow on the brand makes a chill run down my spine. The slightly straighter crop would have worked better for ma nd mayber seein more of where the water is goind in the lower left, a better sense of motion and flow through the shot? Started at a 7, going to a 9

Very pretty blur in the water. The red-topped blocks and the stick add an unanswered question that kept me looking for quite a while.

The tones here help craft a sacred mood. I'm a bit puzzled, though, by the water and do wish that something in the image were in sharp focus. Nice composition and exposure.

Waterfall is a good subject choice. I like the long exposure making streams of white for the falls. Wish it were sharper. I don't know about those blocks, I'd rather see more of the water above the falls.
