thanks for the comments.

i really butchered a great idea. needed another day to revisit this.

stuck a leg of my mini tripod in the coin slot and taped the cord to it. cloned the overspill. in hindsight should have had the cord s-shaped or turned the receiver upside down and added a coffee cup to improve the message.

oh well, there's always next week to attempt to slightly less confuse the viewers ;)

not bad, interesting idea. if you could have found a way to have done it without the image of the person (even blurred out), it could have been better and fit the challenge better as well. perhaps the person could have been replaced with another street object, such as a postal drop or a paper box?

The photo is too dark to see what is happening. My first impression is that the person is asking for coins to feed the pay phone. Careful scrutiny revealed that it might be the phone itself asking for the change from a passerby. Idea is good but the image is just too dark!
