 Converted to grayscale,shadows and highlite,brightness/contrast ,exposure. The photo was taken at Oxford Circus in london ,the person that is in the photo is holding un advertising sign as you have gathered . Unplesant and very low paid job, usualy people that dont speak very good english are stuck out in the cold by the retail bussiness's as cheap work hand .
It took me about 20 min to get the right shot ,the guy keep turning around all the time and i had real problem getting he's face in the shot .

Very good photographic study. I thought at first there were three hands but I see now that his fingers are entwined sort of unusually ;-)

this is fascinating. the first thing you see points to the next store and then you throw in a speeding cab...to bad it wasn't run by the "final destination" cab company...sorry. great image.
