 Well, I am interested in critique because all of my entries are consistently getting average scores.

Lighting: Studio lights with shoot-thru umbrellas.
Main light off to the left and high of the camera, and a second light behind subject and to the right pointing to subject's back to give elements of depth.

Minimal Processing included
crop and resize for web.
a Levels adjustment.
And a border stroke of black.

The idea? Well, I just thought that this girl was beautiful and had beautiful hair. I wanted to somehow WOW the voters with her beauty. I chose for her to be sleeping in order to give it a more dramatic appeal. The idea is that she's been practicing so hard, and she fell asleep in the middle of it.

Post challenge edit... yay! An average vote of 6! My best to date so far!

the nicely combed hair sort of makes me think that this was staged. but nevertheless, the relaxed pose of the little girl makes this photo attractive.

Her expression is beautiful and the soft light really plays off of her face nicely. The green is pretty but I find it a little distracting. You did a great job on this photo.

Pretty pose. I think using flute music instead of piano music as the background woudl have helped a little more. But, that said, it is a solid image.
