Beautiful sillouhette! Background wrinkles are a wee bit distracting to my eye and make me want to look away from the main subject. My first thought was, what a great take on this challenge! So, you gain a point for that ;) |

Great symmetry in the silhouette and I like the lighting, wish the background was a bit smoother though. |

I like the idea. But come on... at least iron the sheet! |

I'm sorry, but what connection does this have with 'School Days'? I like the silhouette approach and the use of backlighting to highlight the bg is good, although if she were a little farther in front you'd have less light spillover on her shoulders, fingers, and cheek. An ironed background would help keep the viewer from being distracted. All JMO of course. :D Good luck in the challenge. |

With advanced editing this could be a ribbon winner. I love the backlighting, the yellow sheet, etc.. but the eye goes immediately to the wrinkles and lines of the sheet. IMHO If you darken the subject, add more saturation of the yellow and remove the wrinkles, you have an awesome image that will definitely make a nice addition to your portfolio. 7 |

I just wanted to let you know that I really like the idea of this picture, your set up was good in theory but some of the imperfections are going to kill your score. The sheet that you used has wrinkles in it, as if you didn't know right. One of my first pictures I ever submitted had the same problem and I didn't think that I would get hit as hard as I did for it so I know that you have more than enough comments saying something about the sheet. Anyway I didn't deduct anything for that because I know what it's like to have something like this. Good luck on the voting. (8) |

Personally, the texture of the background is a distraction - although the line and placement of the silhouette are done nicely. |

I totally love the concept here, but it would have had so much more impact if the background had been blurred out. The wrinkles in the backdrop are really distracting to me. |
