This is the first time I have been on this site and I have looked at hundreds of great photos but this one made me laugh so hard I had to comment. Maybe we have the same weird sense of humor! I wish I had this hanging up somewhere so I could chuckle all day. |

Just a question: Was the lobster still alive while you used (abused?) him for your photo? -stephan |

Technically a very clean, sharp image. The idea is original and fun. Two nitpicks: would have liked to see the top of the pencil less blurred because it is fairly upfront in the picture. The other is I wonder why the right claw has yellow tape; it spoils the effect a little of this being a "normal, natural" shell fish writing his testament en route to the skillet. 8 Journey |

That is funny! Great photo, but you'll probably get some knucklehead comments about how 'cruel' the photo is from some anal folks. I'm giving you an 8. Good job! |

Now I've seen everthing! I think the other band should have been removed from his right claw, but all in all, a clever shot. |

That is such a cute idea! (Is it already dead?) Great shot, including the edge of the pot is a wonderful touch. Maybe a touch more light on the lobster, but not that bad! 9 Swash |

Too darn funny. This is very creative and original. I like the obvious, but subtle pan. I have the feeling someone is going to comment on the focus of the pencil. However, I think its important that the focus is on the paper. The pencil is IN the photo, that's all that matters. I like the lighting and the angle. You're going to have to do a tutorial on how to train lobsters to hold a pencil. Too funny. Good luck with the challenge. |
