Greetings from the Critique Club
This was a difficult challenge due to it's subjective nature.
So many had a pre-conceived idea that the challenge images needed to be in black & white, yet you proved that wasn't the case, scoring not too far behind the sneaky Admins using one of Henri Cartier-Bresson's own shots (was in 52nd place) in the challenge.
Composition:
Through a good use of color and leading lines, your composition pulls the eye right to the main focal point - The glow, with the girl walking towards it.
Lighting:
The lighting in this absolutely makes the shot in my opinion - well done, and good eye seeing this and making good use of natural light.
Post-Processing:
You have a good handle on your post-processing in this picture. The colors feel natural, yet ethereal, especially with the saturation levels falling off towards the edges of the image. The sharpness is good and overall the image is not over processed nor over saturated. The simple border applied was complimentary to the shot and the color chosen feels right with the overall look.
Suggestions/Improvements:
I think after studying this for a while, I have found little to suggest in ways to improve this image. One possibility would have been to burn in some of the blown-out areas just to the left of the lattice, but then again, there may have been no info in it to burn and would have looked worse.
I hope this was useful to you, and please feel free to contact me via PM if you have any questions regarding this critique or anything else relating to the site in general.
Regards,
Brad

Fantastic use of available light, its perfect.
Great textures on the wall, nice pose of the girl and even the wind blowing through her hair works so well. I also like the selective desaturation to focus you down the alley. The Cut off window helps balance the whole picture aswell.
Well done, 9. |

Another great example of how color can work well. I like the desat on the sides, too - adds to the warmth of the color she's moving into, and the light is wonderful! Very nicely done. |

very interesting and intriguing photo. perhaps a tighter crop would have been better, but I go back and forth on that. - 9 |

Love the glow in the alley. Has a magical feel. Also the glow is especially effective with the rest of the frame being black and white. Nice execution. 10 |

Beautiful. The color with the black and white works wonderfully, and the title is a nice fit. |
