 The dome of the Colorado State Capitol. I was there to shoot Girl Scout Day. After hanging out with hordes of Brownies all morning, I took a moment to shoot the dome for myself.

Processing was mostly adjustment layers and Neat Image, plus some heavy sharpening overlayed with a smidge of scaled back gothic glow. Cooling filter, color balance and some hue/sat for a slight blue tint and to cool down the yellows and reds. Incidental processing included cloning hot spots, some funky reflections on one side of the dome wall, and lens vignetting in the lower left corner. There may have been more to it, but I made so many versions of this thing I lost track.

Nice! Don't know which one like the most: this or the alternate version.
Oh, how I am so jelous of this kind of picure! I need to find a building here in the Toronto area to try a similar shot - or maybe fly to Colorado... ;)

Looks like a 'been there done that' photo from previous challenges - that did well as I recall. I don't see why it won't do well this time around either.

There's a lot of depth to this picture. I like how you used rule of thirds rather than centering, which might have been the obvious thing to do. (To me, anyway.)
