Greetings from the Critique Club:
There is not a whole lot I can say about this image...it fits the challenge, it is funny, the tilt of the camera is a little unfortunate
and it is not a lasting image, but I am sure that you know that. If this seems unresponsive please pm me and I will try to go further. |

Very Clever. Well done not having reflections in the monitor! |

I think the title shown in the photo is a little distracting, as well as the surface under the black paper. |

Cute Concept. Good concept execution. Lighting is good, focus is good, and composition is good. I like it. |

The barrel distortion is ruining this for me: if you shoot from so close in it's very difficult to avoid - but if you get just a little further away and then crop closer in editing, or use some of the zoomrange of the camera (if you have any), it'll lessen it enormously. Contrast on the lettering is fine, but the arrangement of the pens, and the lighting there is a bit weak - particularly the way the tip of the black pencil disappears into the background. Good thinking though. |

cute. I'm glad you added the pencils to give this pic a bit more dimension, wish they were lit a bit better maybe from the side? You have a good graphic sense, I like your sign, but I'm not big on photos of 2 dimensional things. |

Very unique idea, I really like it! I like how the text matches the color of the background. The cropping isn't the same length of the top and bottom, would be nice if they equalled. It looks like the red X is pixellated, everything else seems so crisp but for some reason the red looks to be bleeding into the black |

This fits the challenge excellently. I love the lieralism and the portrayal of it. Very well done. |

Great idea, meets the challenge perfectly. Very minor critism, and I mean very very minor, is that the words at the bottom are not as bright as the ones at the top, but it doesn;t really matter. I have to wonder how many people will point out a wrong spelling, which you have obviously intended. Absolutely love it! |
