Greetings from the critique club :)
This photo meets the challenge but it lacks any particular visual interest. I really wish I had more to say, but the composition and the overall presentation doesn't grab my attention very much.

| Too much negative space, maybe a long thin aspect ratio would have suited this shot better? |

| A good idea, numbering the eggs was a very nice touch. The clarity on this is just off and I think having them in a nest of sorts would have been better to me, or even in an incubation type box as if you might really be trying to hatch them.. The lighting is well done, the shadows add a nice touch. Started with a 5, going to a 6 |

| Nice progression - as the numbers get higher, the eggs fall into shadows. Meaningful but not so interesting to look at. Perhaps it would work without the numbers, and you could compose it with the egg lining up diagonally, disappearing into the far corner? |

| Good literalism. I like the tonal progression idea here, though it may be too dark too quickly. One other just purely aesthetic comment is that the picture might have been more interesting a shot photographically/artistically if 1) taken with a bigger perspective emphasis, and with another means to indicate counting besides the handwritten numbers (maybe a tape based caldulator) |

This is nice, I would suggest a couple things -
I think having number 1 egg closer to the camera, making it a bit larger, and having the eggs get smaller from there would make a nice effect
I think the light radius is a little small |
