Very sharp. What with the dark background? Almost perfect black but there is a distracting scratch at the back.

Glad to see you're experimenting with back lighting. Your foreflash is a little on the hard shadow side. Also the subject usually is more pleasing if not put into the dead center of your shot. 5 -danny

excellent idea, i like it. the bright red collar does distract me a little tho, i'd like to have seen this in B&W. 8

This is a very interesting image and fits the challenge with its title (which could be tightened a bit and maybe applied to the image later on) color, good, lighting very nice, I like the fringed backlighting, curveof the zipper and collar are nice 9

I like the idea, title, and setup of your shot, but thought it might have been more dramatic and effective in B&W. His skintones and the red rim of his sweatshirt take away a bit from the stark comment. Nice job, though!
