| Lovely old tree. It certainly met the challenge, and I really like the nice, muted tones and the soft lighting. A very challenging subject, and one that is hard to confine within 640 pixels. I think the complexity is what kept me from voting higher on this one. The strong diagonal of the fallen branch is nice, but the overall balance is a bit off with the amount of real estate taken by the trunk and where that line cuts the image. The rest of the branches push it into the "busy" category. |
