The propaganda value of this image comes from Las Vegas spending the last few years transforming it's image.

They want you to think it is a wholesome family vacation destination spot with fun for all ages when, in fact, all they really care about is collecting your gambling losses.

This image was taken of the main entrance to The Excalibur Hotel and Casino from the skybridge between The MGM Grand and New York, New York Casinos on the famous Las Vegas Strip.

It was the proverbial dark and stormy night, though you can't tell from this image.

The camera was mounted on a small tabletop tripod. The image has adjusted color and applied USM.

Ha, no kidding. Postcard worhty shot by the way, but might want to crop in a little more on the sides.

nice clean angles and colors, gives it a very artificial look which goes well with the theme. Some of the brigh spots are too bright. I'd crop in a bit more make it feel more abstract and unfriendly.

The only problem I see is IMO the shot has to be verticle to include the tops of the domes. Being cut-off ruins the shot.

I like it. Would have been better if the spires had been complete, maybe some space above them even (maybe not an option though where it was taken).

Not sure what you are trying to say here, but don't feel it meets the challenge

Nice colors, good night time shot. I feel that to bring your message home, having an angle that shows this in the foreground and a famous casino in the background would really make an impact. 7 -danny

Very nice and funny kind of commercial. Wasn't there a way not to chop of the tops of the roofs? 9
