Kinda hokey and corny, but at least it's something I can sort of stand behind ideologically, even if it's over the top. I wonder how many people will see it as camp, and like it because they think I'm poking fun at the right. I'm not - good riddance Gray Davis!

I tried to push the blues pretty hard for the theme but they still seemed a bit weaker than I would have liked - hopefully I didn't just mess it up. I ran it through Neat Image twice, once at the start of processing, and again at the end - it was a pretty noisy sky. But I thought the end result sort of had a propaganda-style look - kind of a bit cartoony. Not something I would normally submit, but for propaganda, it sort of seemed.... right. :)

And, the title. A bit heavy handed maybe? Couldn't come up with a totally succinct message that encompassed all the elements I tried to portray here. This might have been the kind of thing with a split caption, if we could have added text - the first half in the upper left corner, the second in slightly larger print on the right hand side somewhere. Hope it doesn't turn anyone off.

And I'll say up front: This was NOT a picture that I happened to take and shoehorned into the challenge at the last minute. I went out with (more or less) this exact image in mind, and sought out the location to try to create it. I only wish I had panned right a little to get a bit more of the blue sky.
