 Shot at Vigdísarvellir near Hafnarfjörður, Iceland. I went to shoot a picture for this challenge last Friday but didn\'t like the outcome of that picture so I went again, now with Ívar and Moe.

The lake was completely frozen and a few times the ice made a weird sound which sounded a bit like the sound of an empty stomach :)

This is shot using my tripod and wired remote.

PP was as follows: Conversion from raw using Canon Digital Photo Pro, NeatImage to remove iso noise and a couple of adjustment layers in Photoshop (curves, hue-sat).

Hope this does ok :)

Thanks for all the great comments. I wish I could have applied different curves for the foreground and the background, but as this was s basic-editing challenge this was not allowed ;)

Very nice sky. I whish the ice was a bit sharper (no pun intended). The blurring on the bottom left is a bit distracting.
