Layers to adjust Squirrel separate from background, then used Auto-Color, Contrast & Brightness, Enhanced Saturation, Magic Wand Tool, Rectangular Marquee, Magic Eraser & Eraser Tools, Merged Visible, Sharpened, Sharpened Edges, USM, Deep Yellow Filter, Diffuse Glow on the blown-out sunlight regions, Blur Tool, Clone Tool to remove a black spot left over from a layer,Resized, Saved for Web...If you will do me the kindness of a little grace here, I will greatly appreciate it. I thought about AD/HD or ASD as a title for another self-portrait, since I am both, but my wife cautioned me against it citing the PC-factor. Ultimately, that required me to create a spoof acronym, along the lines of D.A.R.Y.L. Honestly, I can think of no animal that is more like a thinking-level robot than a squirrel. A squirrel has an apparently endless source of power, can perform super-human acrobatics fearlessly, and can out-think "squirrel-proof" birdfeeder baffles that were labeled as "fool-proof." I readily conceed that in the battle between birds and me,...I am the fool. Therefore, I feed the squirrels that they might grant me the beneficence to also feed the birds! :}

That's not an acronym, that's a book!

As for the photo, I like the way you've captured the squirrel looking at you. Amazing how they can cling to the tree like that. It appears that your focal point is off a little, or it's just a smidgen blurry overall. Nice DOF to blur out the bg.

Sorry to say, the long title really took a lot away from this IMO as for meeting the challenge.

From the challenge: Title your image with your chosen acronym, and let your image explain what the letters represent!

As such you shouldn't put in your title what the letters mean. Thats what the picture was supposed to do.

dnmc - I would never have been able to figure this out without the title.

Photo could be sharper, but the title certainly gave me a chuckle. Nice perspective, too.

I've gotta believe you made this "acronym" up to go with the photo. (?)
