Well THIS is a first... I wanted to use an older woman as the model for a bit of humor, but I didn't know anybody around here that would qualify. My wife suggested a local elementary school teacher, but I had never met her, and her phone number was unlisted. I literally knocked on her door as a complete stranger and asked her to pose for me. What a sport! Get this: she even had the helmet and football!
Shot with a large umbrella behind her on the right and a smaller brolly box at front left. My daughter was holding a reflector on the right side, and I hung black cloth for the background.
Major Photoshop juju: Convert from RAW, levels, curves, darkened the shirt, removed a wristwatch, straightened the left shoulder a little, removed a few white spots in the eye patches, generous dodging & burning, Luko sharpening technique (partially), channel mixer for saturation, warm Photo filter on the skin and ball, and cool Photo filter on the blue areas, crop, USM and Neat Image. |
