yes, it was dark. i knew this before i submitted.

Very neat idea. Nice composition, too.

took me a minute, but I get it. lol. Great job with this. lighting and angle are perfect to achieve this effect. I also like the frame placement. focus is very nice. great job and good luck in the challenge.

Very nice - 9. If it had a better composition, I'd have given you a 10.

Good composition. The simplicity is appealing.

Interesting composition and cropping. Feels a little too dark for me, but most of the hand is well lit. Perhaps it's that the pencil seems to be too much in the dark? Just my opinion though.

too hard to tell you've drawn in the shadow. Nice idea though.

nice... maybe the lighting should have been from a different angele so the 'real shadow' would not overlap the graphite shadow?

Cool idea! But it takes a bit of work to see the drawen shadow. One of my high picks this week.

At first I thought this was a really boring picture, until I noticed the shadow colored in under the hand...I love it!

interesting and nice.

Great concept. If there had been a way to lessen the real shadows I wonder if that would have helped? I love this picture.

powerful concept well done achieving it

Technically well done, meets the challenge. Like the idea, but perhaps (I think) the picture could have been lit in such a way that the drawn shadow was a little more obviousâ€Â¦

Technically well done, but not a very moving photo. 5 -lennier
