yes, it was dark. i knew this before i submitted.
i didn't have time to get more lights to remove the real shadow. |

| took me a minute, but I get it. lol. Great job with this. lighting and angle are perfect to achieve this effect. I also like the frame placement. focus is very nice. great job and good luck in the challenge. |

Interesting composition and cropping. Feels a little too dark for me, but most of the hand is well lit. Perhaps it's that the pencil seems to be too much in the dark? Just my opinion though.

| nice... maybe the lighting should have been from a different angele so the 'real shadow' would not overlap the graphite shadow? |
