| This was my favourite, though I couldn't vote. Tried to leave message to the effect of great understatement - the lonely unpretentious little chair, maybe left there to shell peas, peel potatoes, clean boots - the wash tub, or maybe not, doesn't matter, the scenery, the setting is grand but not spectacular. I dunno, so many entries were trying to make a statement, and this one wasn't. |

| Ditto what hipychik said... with a caveat. ;) I wish it had just a smidge more space between the chair and the barn. The diagonals on the chair match the door x-beams. All of the other man-made lines are north south. |

| I think this is a great shot. The folding chair is so out of place that it makes it a main object in the photo. I think it was really under-rated. |

Description of "Furniture" challenge; We've all got it, right? The challenge is to do something creative with furniture.

The challenge description DID NOT say anything about the furniture having to be the main focus. IT DID NOT say anything about how to place, focus, or block the image within the frame.
The description said to be "creative". That is all.
Therefore, those that thought the same thing as these members were actually ADDING to the description wrongly.

| I like the story that the basket sitting next to the chair gives - A chair in this scene in and of itself woudl look strange and out of place, but the basket provides a context, a tie to an action. Great work. 8 |

| Wow. I love the composition and feel. Obviously the furniture didn't need to be massive to be effective. I want to see who's going to sit there and what they'll be doing. |

| The relative size of the chair to the barn is great on this. The color temp seems a bit off - too much warmth in the sky - but a really lovely photo. |

| even thou it only takes up a very small part of the shot I like that it stands out so much. I love the colour of the shed but the sky is a bit off imo. I also miss seeing the top of the 2nd hill. Good Luck |
