this is a lovely image.. you should be very proud of it! It is so soft, and I love how it fills the frame! |

I love this rose shot. One of the best I've seen so far in the challenges here. I'm not a big fan of the border/framing, but that's more of a personal choice :-) Nice work! |

Nice photo! Probably even better with less of the frame... |

Okay, I must admit that I've been of the feeling flower pictures in this challenge were a little too 'easy' -- which is to say, not all that original. But this is just stunning. I even don't mind the border; it gives it a very post-cardy feel, and I'm a big fan of commercial art when it's done well, so that's a plus. Also, I'm really impressed you managed to find what appears to be a completely perfect white rose. Very nice. |

I'm not sure if I like such a tight crop. If I was gonna try it this tight I would try and get the center of the rose more off center! Also the framing is quite overbearing. I would rather see no or almost no border and MORE IMAGE!

This is very pretty. Love the crop. The flower is beautiful and I love way the petals are slowly opening with the center still tightly closed. I gave this an 8. Probably would have given it a 9 but there seems to be quite a bit of yellow in the shadows of the petals. Nice job. |

Nice, although the excessive border takes away from the picture. Would have been higher - 7. |

A good macro in sublte and naturel tones which radiates from the centre. The near static composition benefits this effect.
The excessively decorative border, unfortunately, diminished both the potential image size and the claim of the title. |

Love your photo and in this case the border helps the picture. Wonderful photo. 10 |

Beautifully cropped to really highlight the swirling pattern of the petals. Nice composition with the main curve from top to bottom (at the right hand side) formed by the two-three touching petals there. Yellow shadow detail adds depth. Good choie of border though not sure of choice of grey colour for the thicker smudged border element. |

Very pure and very beautiful indeed. A refeshing change to all the negative space in the challenge. |

Well handled except for lower left corner not receiving quite the same softening treatment. |

the border is a bit too elaborate for my taste. But the flower is stunning. (9) |

Not a fan of the border. Perhaps if the shading matched that of the flower... |

Excellent rose picture, with great soft colors. Could do with a less dominating border. |

Briliiant Photo. This looks like something you'd see in a shampoo or soap advertisement. Great job!

I like this shot very much, but the wide white border quite overwhelms it for me. The shadowing around the edges is nice though. |
