the image seems a little blurry and the background is somewhat distracting. though i like the lighting

that pretty much covers it

Although this is busy there is something really charming about this compostion in the kitchen, I like it!

I really like the idea here. However, seeing the items in the background are really distracting. Also, I think a bit stronger comp would have really give this image a strong edge. Lastly white balance is a bit yellow.

nice composition and kitchen too.

Focus is off a bit.

all nice displays of syurps and all the same color too, nicely done with the set up of the picture

i like the warm colours, gives a cozy look to this picture.

I think i would have tried a fuller DOF. There is also quite a color cast to the picture. 4

That brings back memories! Good job making the picture look older.

a little too much (light bulb-)yellow. play with aperture to blurr the uneven, distracting background. I like the similar colors of bottle, honey, tin and cup.

I like the lighting but it's far too staged - I think a slightly more interesting composition would have been much more helpful.

I think you could have done better without all the other peripheral elements. Nice concept though.

Nice kitchen and set up. I would like to see a bit more colour though - ones that aren't so warm.

Cute idea.

Tighter crop and a little less light on the background and this would be a great shot!

Interesting idea, but the composition doesn't work as well as it could. Just lining things up like that leaves the image dimensionless. I would've moved the pie & pie-caddy off to one side and rotated the handle about 45-degrees, the taller items (especially the Southern Comfort bottle) should be moved to the back of the line-up -- or, even, to a less "obvious" spot like on the rear counter for the viewer to "discover". Finally, what it the purpose of the napkins or dish-towels (under the lemon and the pie)???? Perhaps they could be removed altogether. I do like the lighting, although because it is incandescent, it is a bit "yellow"

That was my mother's secret therapy for any flu! As a matter of fact.......it was her remedy even WITHOUT a flu! *grin*

i usually use Makers in mine

This could use more blue because the lighting here is very orange. The depth of field could be a bit shallower so that the background doesn't destract so much.

The lemon's a nice touch. I don't get the name though...
