 My kids holding hands.

This shot is special to me because my kids both have thier respective issues. my daughter being diabetic(too bad her bracelet saying Type 1 Diabetic is covered but this wasnt a set up shot) and my son being covered in scars from being a micro preemie(he has other issues from it as well but the scars are the only thing really being displayed in this shot) but I'm glad that in a world where people are quick to judge and fear,they have each other. They may each call or think of the other as weird from time to time but not for medical reasons. And they'll never discriminate against each other because to them whomever the other one is is exactly what a brother or sister is supposed to be. they don't know it any other way.

This pleases me so much, apart from the story behind it. That makes it so much more special. I just like the balance of the composition and the way the hands are gripped. A very strong and emotional image here.....

Hi,

sorry this took so long.

I like this idea, the Tonality of the photo is great. I like the lighting on the hands, as you said it is too bad that the braclet wasnt covered.

The only thing I might have tried different would have been maybe a different positioning of the hands. Other than that the feel is very symetrical and nice. A great photo with a great story behind it.
