G-Rain

Taken as a storm was going across the horizon, Thanks to Reg, who I walk with each morning, added the human composition; always have the camera close by when I am out.

Totally agree with you Sandy, re the score, as I to think this is a good grain image with lots of character.....

Now, this is a photo that works very well with grain. It enhances the mood of the photo and looks really cool with those golds and stormy blues. Reg is a good model for this type of photo. He looks the part very well.

I really think this deserves much higher than 5.3

You've really created the ominous mood of an approaching storm with this! I think the grain serves it well in two ways, both photographically, and the grain of the sand, too.

great picture but maybe getting rid of the person would have made it look a little prettier

Looks identical to the walkway "To Catch a Predator" did one of their stings on.

Very nice shot/colours/grain, but think I would have prefered it without the person in it

I find this compelling. The colors, composition, pose, and especially processing are well done.

Great use of color, light and grain, to give impact to this photo...9

colors, with the graining, gives it a very nice kodachrome feel.
