 This was one of the most difficult challenges for me to date. Entering an image with grain/noise was a really strange experience (like everyone else, I usually try to avoid noise like the plague).
This is my husband photographing some of the beautiful old timbered houses in the town we live in. I intended doing something similar for the challenge but ended up taking more pictures of him than the houses ;-)

I really like that composition. Oh and that funny thing on the lens is the hood! I reverse it like that all the time.

This is a great shot! The photographers right arm is perfectly placed to frame both the photograph and his face and I like the space you have left in front of the lens. The grain is the perfect touch for this kind of photograph. Well done.
