 Yes I have now officially hired my daughter to model for me, I really wanted this shot so I paid her $5. Not bad for a 10 yr old. She looks older than she actually is. This is her grandpa's suit, which could've fit 5 of her in it, so I decided to crop in close as to avoid seeing the baggyness of the suit.

Congrats on 11th! A great, fun portrait of a lovely and gracious daughter. A solid black border would have worked better I think as well. Still - congrats on a personal best also.

Lovely photo and really like the expression. The only distracting thing is the makeup - particularly the lipstick/gloss - as the title of the challenge is Crossdress!

Pretty girl, love the pose, love her look. Nice composition too, but I would have liked clear highlights in her eyes.

Apart from that: I think the border you use is not flattering. It reminds me of a funeral card. :(

Excellent shot, The border is a bit of a distraction as it would be better without it or a solid colour to frame the picture rather than the one chosen, but other than that great work.

nice light direction, a little soft on focus but not too bad. holding detail and the whites and the important blacks. the stroke seems a bit heavy though. nice image all around, think it will do well.
