i like the touch of the grain - i think it adds something to the photo

A little too much hand in the picture, it really draws the attention away from the applicator (and, thus, the 'scent').

I am a huge fan of black and white, but am not crazy about it for this shot. For me, it gives the shot kind of a cold feel, and since, overall, this shot has a somewhat sensuous feel to it, I would prefer the warm skin tones of color. I love the composition; the negative space aspect is emphasized by some lovely sensuous curves. I think the appeal of the composition overall is why I am giving you an 8.

I really like the grain. It works for me here. 7

I find myself really wondering what natural tones would look like here...meets challenge, focus clean, lighting interesting - a bit of highlight on applicator

I like the close up personal aspect. It is a good picture.
My opinion:
Don't know about the color. Blue ; emotionally it is for sadness, coldness and depression. Maybe a warmer color would have worked better? I don't know about the grain either. It could enhance the feeling of the scent being in the air. I don't think I like it.

Good concept that could have been carried out better. Lighting is too harsh and exposure seems off as you've lost detail in the hand and shoulder. I also find a lack of coherence between the graininess of the image and the refined and delicate features of the woman. More light shed on the glass applicator and maybe doing away with the shadow in the background would have improved the picture IMO. I'm a bit undecided about the blue-green-grey cast but do think it adds a feeling of sensuality

Seductive, the hard shaddow on the backdrop isn't though.

Nice shot, good choice to go close in - the curve of her neck and shoulder is very strong and I like how the curve of the hand mirrors the lower egde of it. Nice choice for b/w and nice choice to have so much grain.

Skins tones seem very pasty

If I had a willing participant....this is what I would have done.
Things I like: I like the angle of this shot, showing just where the neck hits the shoulders. I like the monocolor choice, it has a very cool feel to it.
Things I don\'t like: I would like to have seen more of the neck and shoulder area. the crop on the hand is too tight, would like to see more of the hand. could be a knee we are looking at, well not really, but you get the idea.

Lovely composition and nice surreal (infrared?) color. The noise is a shame. This is the sort of shot that NeatImage makes a huge improvement to, because you already have an unreal tone to the skin.

Wonderful title, and creative idea. Very good. The tone is a funny color and the hand is a bit brighter then the rest of her. Still this has appeal and it's bang on target for the challenge. Well done. You should do well in the challenge. Good luck to you. I like it. 8

Love it. The dual tone here was a great choice. The way the girl has angled her neck makes this look very natural. Nice work.
