this is unedited version ..

these are my processing steps ..
processed twice thru RAW ... once dark to bring out the sun's rays and once lighter . i also changed the colouring to a more greener hue ...
in CS2 i merged the two images after selectively erasing areas in the lighter layer to allow the darker bits to show thru ..
brightness/contrast adjustment layer to intensify the suns rays and erased everywhere else.
increased canvas size width 50%/black .. saved as is ...
duplicated image and merged all layers ... saved with new name ...
scaled layer slightly wider .. and duplicated that layer which i warped to give concave shape.
created a new layer which i filled with black ..
unwarped layer i opaqued to 60% over black layer ... and then merged the two ..
did colour balance adjustment layer in which i increased the red in shadows and increased the yellow in the highlights ...
cloned out branch in the warped layer ..
smart sharpen in warped layer ..
thin black border top and bottom ... already had side border from when i increased the canvas size 50% in black .. saved for web ...
