What a cool photo Brian!! I voted on so many photos too, but I missed this one. I would have voted it high because its so interesting. It has such a great story to it!

| This photo is just too busy to really make this group portrait effective. Either limiting the DOF or moving them out to the beach would have probably been better. The on-camera flash is apparent with everyone as well. It's nice to have the flash to fill the shadows in the middle of the day but I don't find them very effective at lighting up a subject. |

Great subjects! Personally tho I would have cropped out the right side of the photo to bring the men into the main focus of the shot. The blue of the water, for me, draws my eye away from them.

| This is a really cool shot, and something one would not get the chance to photograph everyday.....I also appriciate it in it natural setting..... |

Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning.
