There are so many shot sin this challenge that I'd like to see in focus and this is definately one of them. Although, I'd prefer someone sitting at the bottom of the dock maybe with their legs in the still water. Mind you, that's got nothing much to do with this picture...
I really like this, the whole image seems very soft (Apart from the green grass maybe?) However, as I said I like this, full marks from me! |

Wonderful capture. It looks like the pier is hanging out in thin air. Ilike the composition, it being in B&W. |

Perfect. I love the illusion that this creates of freestanding in air, even though I realize it is a water reflection. Wow. |

I can't believe the movement of the person on the dock didn't even cause a ripple. |

Very nice use of selective focus. The fog and reflection give it an air of mystery. |

It appears slightly over sharpened which is interesting for a "soft focus" challenge. :) It is a wonderful shot worthy of printing and framing. |

This shot frustates me! ; )
It's a great scene, perfect focus and on-challenge - but that photographer ruins it!! It makes you conscious that this photo is being taken instead of being a distant observer.
This could have been a real star of the show (and may well be in the end) but I feel that this person was added to help your title pun more than its composition. Just look at it without - its serene and unspoilt. Even someone just standing, hands in pockets - or sitting at the end would have been better.
You still get top marks for technicality and take on the challenge though. |

Simple, beautiful. The pier as the leading line and using the early morning light/fog is a great idea. I love this photo. It reminds me of my life on the lake. Wonderful photo ! |

I like this. For me it has an interesting composition, and the feel of mystery. It makes you want to know more. Also, if you look at it carefully, the pier with it's very strong shadow can look like a huge steel I-beam projecting out into nothingness, which creates a very odd feel of suspense. Hmm.. I'm going to have to come back to this and spend more time on it, but for now-9 |

Love the sharpness of the jetty vs the softness of the rest of it. Amazingly flat water! great shot. |

I really want to like it, but whatever that it is under that is under the bridge to the left really pulls my eye to it. |

Oh my gosh. This is just amazing to look at. Perfectly still water. The reflections are just wonderful. Neat shot. I do think the saturation could stand to be boosted a bit. I love this. Great job. Good luck in the challenge. |
