When you say "The Boatrace" i think of the Oxford-Cambridge race.

This is a good capture though. I rowed for 6 years and so when i see port side being early it ruins a great picture. I still like though... 7

Nice shot...almost a great shot but I think it gets let down a touch in terms of rule of thirds. The boat itself lies smack through the bottom third line but the head of the middle oarsman lies pretty much smack bang in the middle of the shot and the right hand oar of the third oarsman is kinda in no mans line. Love the fact that you captured the splash of the oar but if this had been cropped so it hit one of the RoT cross points the composition would (imo) have been even better
