The setup

Two strobe flashes
The one in front was set to minimum flash and positioned about ten feet to the left of scene with a silver umbrella mounted
The one behind me set on max flash, no cover
One smoke machine set to left of scene
one water hose set on mist spray

The shot

I had my nephew stand on position for fucus and settings
then set the timer on 10 seconds and posed
the fog machine ran on full setting while he sprayed a fine mist of water between me and the back strobe

I̢۪m just not feeling that this is within the Contre-jour technique. Nice shot just not what I think when I̢۪m looking for Contre-jour.

strong lighting, good fill and it would be great if the right arm wasn't hanging straight down.
