This is my favorite of the challenge. Great expression, especially the eyes, and the fact that he's NOT dirty makes you wonder what he's asking for forgiveness from, dark matters of the heart perhaps. Kinda creepy, and thus I love it! |

This looks too over processed to me.
What your trying to convey or what's going on I'm just not getting. |

Would have been more powerful with a different model, the earring takes away from it, and dirty him up a bit |

To me this is over processed and looks more like a drawing then a photo. |

Very bold, thought provoking image. And nicely executed. Good lighting and editing to help convey the message. Nice job :-) |

Funky processing! I like it. It just seems to work quite well with this image. |

the background is a bit distractiing, maybe placing him in a plain corner would make him look "needy". |

Not a big fan of this kind of processing. However, good concept, the model has nailed the look in his eyes. The earring is a wee bit ditracting. But the lighting is spot-on. going with a 6 initially but may welll bump on the 2nd pass (I am only on image 18 at the moment, so long way to go yet!)
6
OK, 2nd time around. Now, compared to a lot of the other shots in the challenge this actually does stand out a bit more than it did initially. However. I really am not entirely convinced with the processing, its seems to of been done this way for the sake of it, not to embellish the `chain` subject it is supposed to be describing. I am bumping this up 2 points BUT not for the processing, but for the idea, and mainly because the model really has nailed `the look`. You owe him 2 points worth of beers. 8 well done. |

Good idea I think that it would have worked better in portrait format and the background is very distracting |
