 More fun and practice with layer masks and gradient. Not many will see that this is a picture of a chain reacting to the beauty of the flower (a real one!). See the heart?

Too abstract? For most, I suspect so. Especially since I don't think like most anyway. :D

This is not perfect - but I like it. Let me just say tho - I saw this on a laptop and it looks horrible. Way too light. Looks a lot darker on my own computer screen. Plus I messed around with my monitor settings today - not a good idea.

Really nice composition! Chain is clearly defined and I LOVE the darkening effect around the edges of the photo. It frames the shot really nicely and brings attention to the focal points of the chain and flower. Nice meaning too! Love the symbolism to it!
