 My girlfriend pulling the chain from the anchor of the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA - I don't think this will do too well as it was a bit rushed and I hate the thing poking out of the top of the chain!

I like the composition and the texture of the chain. This picture tells a story at the very first glance.

I was wondering what I could get away with - When I read the rules though

clone out incidental power lines, twigs, dust specks, stray hairs, and similar minor imperfections.

I thought it was a little more than a power line etc - Any thoughts from anyoneas ti if I would have gotten away with getting rid of the thing above the chain?

Well done on the finish for this. AS this was Advanced Editing, why didn't you simply clone out the thingy sticking out of the chain? I think you may have got a top 5 if you had... I do also agree with other comments that the girl is a bit small in this composition and this could possibly have hurt you here.
