It's too cold in Minnesota to find a live insect so I had to shoot a dead one! It was a spider from last year.

It´s hard to see the insect here

It's not clear to me what the insect subject is.

I'm assuming the little brown spec at the center of the picture is your insect. However, I would be hard pressed to guess what it is. The main focal point in your shot appears to be the cactus, not an insect.

As much as I look, I simply cant see an insect.

Can't really see the subject at all. Maybe a different angle is needed or some light to highlight the spider/whatever?

I cannot see an insect it is quite blurry image and your insect which should be the main subject seems lost

I love the idea, and the cactus is very cool. But it's too hard to identify the bug. Also, it might have looked more 'natural' if the cactus was sitting on some dirt instead of a wood floor (or table).

It is really really hard to see the but, i think this could have ben better if you focused in more on the bug and less on the thorns

I think there's an insect in there somewhere. Very hard to see and the out of focus area in front is distracting. The parts that are in focus are clear and sharp. ;)
