 This is Baby Carson, and the only reason I was able to capture this great moment between him and his Aunt Natalie was because people by now are so used to me walking around with a camera that they seriously don't even pay me any attention any more :)

I just love this picture because its so obvious in it the love between those two!

Carson was born to my other son, Aaron and Bre, just 14 hours after Natalie and Jason's son, Jackson was born. Breanna and Natalie are best friends, so already Jackson and Carson are quite attached to each other and to their respective aunts and uncles :)

And I just realized: My favorite pictures of Natalie are of her kissing toes and fingers :) Maybe because those pictures best show her beautiful tender heart!

Sandy, this is such an awesome photo! Every element from the soft touches of love, to the beautiful DOF / bokeh background, to the wonderful tones of black & white. This will go into my favorites just to remember how a master shoots a perfect picture. Bravo!!!

Beautiful story you have here Sandy - and I love that you have such freedom in your work (it shows wonderfully). Now, if only i could figure out HOW you got this (gaussian blur maybe?). The terrific bokeh and conversion is only overshadowed by the wonderful memory you've given to yet another cherished family member - Bravo!
