I had this great idea to start the portraits off showing off my sweet smiling, ultra-photogenic little grandbabies, Jackson and Carson. They neeeeeeever cry. Hmmmmm. I must have the magic touch as a portrait photographer, huh??? I may be in big trouble :)

Oh man would you look at this!
This is so real-life, so touching.
Excellent! Greeting card material if I ever saw it.

Great capture here...something different from the typical "happy baby" photo. Works really well in b/w.

Oh my gosh, they are getting big! They are so cute, both crying like that. You did a great job on this. And these pics make me want grandchildren ...

Very sweet - one to drag out and embarass them with in years to come.

AWWW.. this is darling. Nice clear portrait. I like pictures of babies crying. Call me sick, but it shows them the way they are. As long as they're not being abused, which these two sweeties obviously aren't...

Sandy, after seeing so many happy pictures of your grand-babies, my heart kinda saddens to see them upset. I know you picked them up and loved away their tears after this beautiful B&W. Very cute picture and a great way to start Day-1

They are so nice and at that age their cries sounds mellow.

I like the shallow DOF here.

good job with the B/W conversion ... if they never cry then you captured a really special moment ... that will be a shot to look back at in 20 years and have a good laugh!

lol, crying babies can definitely be humorous (as long as it's a short cry) as long as you don't have to hear the poor things! Cute shot, the faces are priceless & a shot they probably will hunt you down for when they get older!

Spoiled a bit are they? I can say that because I have a spoiled one of my own that looks about the same age. Great picture! I love the black and white, and you couldn't have posed them better!

You can just see how cute they are, even through the tears. They'll chuckle over this one years from now!

Oh, they are cute indeed but I would much rather see them smiling. For some reason I don't like to see kids crying, even though it's totally natural. The picture is great and the black and white suits it perfectly though.

Adorable and classic Sandy. Your pictures continue to amaze me.

Aww - that is SO cute.

Technically speaking, I think a little stronger contrast would really make the photo "pop".

Oh Sandy, how sad, but also in a nice way, so very beautiful.
What a shot, and I am so pleased you shared it with us.
I love you for that so much, and you know you have the magicial touch, as I bet after this shot was taken, you pacificied them both, with lots of cuddles and they were happy again.

I can't wait to see more image from you.....

:D Great portrait! Very sweet. :) B/W works really well. I like their kind of inverse looks, each with a different hand at their mouths and so on. Nice.
