Has kind of an advertising feel to it. I like the soft focus too, it suits this shot well. There are both "shapes" and "forms" in the shot, but the combination makes it interesting. The colors are lovely, as is the lighting you chose.

Nice lighting, the packages and balls seem to glow. The curtain seems out of place among the other items.

Nicely arranged, moody tones, I like it. Good entry.

Excellent set-up. I just wish there was a really sharp spot, so the eye can stop there.

Very nice warm colors and lighting except for the hot spot in the middle. Shallow DOF worked well. 7

The thing in the upper-left is really destracting and doesn't add to the shot. And for this, the foreground packages should be in focus I think. Lighting is nice however.

Interesting subject - it seems like a window display, but is it? It is truely crips on the ribbon where it comes over the side of the big box, but everything else is out of focus. It is that blurriness that looses the sense of the shapes in the picture. I like your set up, balls and boxes, but I wish that the depth of focus were greater.

shape not really most important aspect

I find the drape on the left and the line across the bottom to be two distracting elements in this rather beautiful photo of gifts.
