| I think the composition was the thing that worked least for me in this photo. If you were trying to emphasize "toys" I think organizing them differently or selecting just a few would create a more interesting photo. If you are trying to emphasize "messy", I think a bigger mess and a more zoomed out approach would have been more successful. The corner lines distract me, and the glare from the flash adds to the snapshot quality. 2, just-married |

| Great depiction of childhood. Playtime. The angle is good and the lighting is great. no strange glares, bright spots, or shadows. I like how it's not really a set up shot of childhood, rather a candid one, but I don't know how many people will go for that. They don't seem to go for candid on this site. I am scared at how the "candid" challenge is going to go. lol Great shot and good luck in the challenge. |

| Cluttered, but a good shot. No ideas what to do to "improve" this shot. It is what it is. A triffle dark....maybe a few too many elements, but if messy is what you wanted, this is it! 8 Swash |

My eye keeps getting pulled to the black toy sofa, which is probably one of the less attractive things in the picture, so perhaps unfortunate. Although this definitely says childhood to me, the photo in itself doesn't appeal to me, visually. Perhaps focusing more on just the doll house and related toys would be more cohesive than including the other stuff such as rocking horse and white cuddly?
