Bubbles in a bottle of blue glass cleaner. Lit from an angle behind with a single lamp. I held a red piece of clear plastic over the bubbles and put a yellow piece of plastic behind the bottom - combined with the blue liquid, it produced a green color.

I rotated it 60 degrees to make it a little more interesting.

Editing was two selective color layers to try to eliminate a small dark spot, a small curve to enhance the contrast, and sharpening.

The title was just a reference to the red and green colors found in a stoplight, aka traffic light. Not my best title ever. :)

If only a bottle of window cleaner would look this good if I took a picture of it.

Hi from the Critique Club.

Fit: They are indeed bubbles. No DNMC in this shot.

Composition: The composition is good. You've managed to get the image split into 3 areas with the middle running on a nice diagonal.

Technical: Given the subject you have done a good job. One could be picky about the fuzziness of some of the bubble edges or the distracting reflections in some of the bubbles but that would be nitpicking. There are some nice reflections and no areas are blown out. The lighting is fairly even.

Feel: The title confuses me a bit, how does it relate to the image exactly? While this is a good shot is doesnt "do much" for me. The 5.9 score reflects this I think.

PM if you have any queries.

You never cease to surprise me. This was one of my favorite shots of the bubble challenge. The colors and pattern are gorgeous. You are so clever to have figured out how to make a beautiful photo out of a bottle of windex.
