Converted to B&W with the channel mixer, only the blue channel was used. A curves layer for a slight increase in contrast.

Neat conversion. I like the sky, but I want to be able to see more.

Don't you just love that lens that allows you such great DOF effects. Interesting capture and angles. Nice conversion also.

such a shallow dof, very artistic in nature, however not exactly sure what the feeling is it gives. Just know im looking at a bit of a tree...

this is kinda interesting! i like the narrow focus. definitely a different take on a tree shot. i cannot tell if i am looking up or looking down at a reflection. very cool!

Most excellent unqiue viewpoint. The tree coming in from the right side vs the bottom, works very well here. The focus point and DOF is perfect. The composition , even with the slight DOF we see here still leads us around the image quite nicely.

Ok so not sure if it's looking UP the trunk - at first I thought down - which was quirky and now it's sideways - challenge for my brain first thing in the morning - GRIN!

VERY tight focal length, perhaps a little too tight makes the focus look like a band around the tree - which may have been your intention.

The bokeh is lovely.

Whoah. . .That is some sparkly bokeh, isn't it! I like the angle you've used to highlight the in-focused part.

That is a really interesting abstract!

Really interesting perspective and focal point. Rather an abstract look to it which I really like.

Very nice perspective and an interesting choice of DOF.....certainly takes an ordinary subject and turns it around.
