Love the gourds. Wish you had shown more of them. The house to the right is not necessary for this composition.

Great compostion. I usually like mine with a bit more contrast but this is nicely done.

This is a fun perspective. However, I think the 'shed' takes a bit to much away from the gourds. I did notice the gourds straight away, but was immediately taken away from them as well. You do have a nice separation of contrasts here.

I thought they were lights of some sort in the thumbnail - very nice surprise.

Beautiful B/W. I like it how you kept so much detail, pretty much everywhere. I really like it that there is plenty of contrast without going to extremes. Beautiful image.

These woodland type settings seem to work well in B&W. Good light and dark contrasts, perhaps the background is a touch dark but it gives it an interesting ominous quality.

Love this composition and how your subject jumps right out of the photo. Also wonderful contrast between the lighter foreground and the dark, ominous background.

Wow, my eye went immediately to the gourds. Their white tones sure pop in this image. Very nice gem for the b&w challenge.

interesting composition, i like the tones and the white gourds are a nice addition to the composition and add a nice contrast to the greys and blacks.
