"did an overlay using another photograph that i took of the same trees at the same time"
Very cool - these side challenges are great for experimenting. I appreciate your processing steps - I am keeping notes of the stuff I want to try. |

Hi Roz, what an interesting idea with the overlay. Definitely gives a ghostly, almost other-wordly feeling. |

that's it - i'm buying myself a filter lol. What an intriguing pic! I was like - what is going on in the background? The trees contrasting against the dark sky is awesome. You are so creative - the overlay adds interesting depth to the pic. |

The overlay adds kind of a nifty surprise to it, doesn't it? As always, thanks for including the details of your processing! |

Roz, I like that overlay. Wow. Nice job. It sure makes the shot. And yes, I agree that color photos are easier to do well. |

Roz - I love your work - did something like this myself in the 30 day where we live challenge. Think I would have preferred the image without the half tree top on the left hand side and had that as a negative space - just my opinion - SMILE! |

Hey Roz, I remember doing overlays and sandwiching shots together, even warping images, in the darkroom in my B&W film days... so probably no so digital art. :) Anyway, nice composition and contrast and the overlay works well for a little added interest. :) |

Oh cool, Roz - an overlay! I've been toying with that myself - so far not the success you have with it. This is an awesome photo. The trees look like they're alive and have a plan. Hmmm... |
